How can we faithfully stand with and support our immigrant neighbors? The Michigan Conference is launching the Courageous Communities Project, a new UMCOR grant-funded initiative that equips church leaders and congregations with an online toolbox, consultations, and trainings for immigration justice. Join Rev. Alice Fleming Townley and the project design team—including Tori Booker, Sonya Luna, Rev. Dr. Jill Zundel, Rev. Rob Cook, Rev. Dillon Burns, Rev. Kristi Hintz, and Rev. Leslee Fritz—for this free 30-minute Lunch & Learn. You’ll hear directly from the team and discover practical resources available to every United Methodist in Michigan—ranging from Bible studies and worship materials to legal aid partnerships and community-building efforts.
