St. Vincent’s Catholic Charities (STVCC) urgently needs household items. Why? We’re preparing for 80 newcomers to Lansing by September’s end. These items will help make their new homes comfortable.
Join us on the last two Sundays of September (17th & 24th) at the Gathering Space to donate.
Here’s what we need:
- New twin bed sheets & pillows
- Blankets & bath towels
- Silverware & serving utensils
- Pots, pans, & baking dishes
- Bowls, glasses, hangers, brooms, and mop/bucket sets
If you’d rather give money, you can donate to the Refugee Services fund overseen by the UUMC Mission Committee. When writing a check to UUMC, please note “STVCC/Refugee” in the memo.
Every donation matters. Thank you for welcoming newcomers to our Mid-Michigan community!
