Mutual Aid for MSU International Students

MSU students and faculty are organizing mutual aid to support international students who face unique challenges related to visa status, legal concerns, and financial hardship due to the current socio-political climate. As the summer begins, these needs may grow—and the UUMC community is invited to help when possible.

Currently, we are collecting funds for an international student in the College of Education who has been advised not to return home this summer and requires assistance with rent payments. If you are able to contribute, you can write a check/Venmo (@UUMCDonation) to UUMC with “international student” in the memo line.  Additional mutual aid opportunities may arise, and we will continue to share them as they come.
