Rachel Kain lives in Livonia, MI with her husband Michael and two dogs, Charlie and Spencer. She is a mom of two adult children who are both music students at Eastern Michigan University (Go Eagles!). She is a member of Nardin Park UMC and a certified Elder candidate. She is a senior at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling focused on Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care. She is working as a contingent chaplain at Trinity Health Oakland.

Rachel is passionate about music and the arts and social justice, particularly anti-racism and LGBTQ+ rights. She is deeply committed to helping the church become a trauma-informed resource for those who need mental health support and those who are grieving.
