Where is UUMC located?
What time and where is the Sunday service?
We have a single service at 10 am on Sundays from May 29 through September 3rd. Our music alternates every other Sunday between contemporary jazz with the REACH band and traditional music. Join us live on Sundays on our UUMC YouTube channel or view it anytime afterward at your convenience. These are inclusive and family-friendly services. We welcome everyone!
Childcare is available for children ages 0-3 years.
What opportunities are there for children?
Join our Children and Youth Ministries Director, Sara Cardinal, in person or via our live-streamed worship service on Sunday mornings at 10 am on our UUMC YouTube channel. Sara provides a fun and relatable Children’s Message message based on the scriptures.
All children are invited to explore sensory kits in our Gathering Space area outside the sanctuary.

Are safety protocols in place due to Covid?
Masks are optional. However, we recommend masks be worn inside the building regardless of vaccination status and keep a social distance of 6 feet apart to protect our congregation who may have underlying conditions or vulnerabilities. Masks are available in the church building if you need them. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building.

Where is UUMC located?
University United Methodist Church is located at 1120 S. Harrison Rd., East Lansing, MI 48823. Follow the driveway on Harrison to the parking lot and main entrance on the west side of the church. Get directions using Google Maps.
What time and where is the Sunday service?
We currently offer a traditional service (hymns, piano, organ, instrumentalists) on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and a contemporary jazz service led by our REACH band at 11:00 a.m. Join us live on Sundays on our UUMC YouTube channel or view it anytime afterward at your convenience. These are inclusive and family-friendly services. We welcome everyone! Our schedule will switch to single services at 10 a.m. in the summer.

The simple answer—is anything you want! You will see everything from jeans to suits at our services. Come as you are. We’ll be glad to see you.

Your gift to us is coming to worship. Please, do not feel pressured to give money.
Is the church equipped to serve special needs individuals?
Our building is fully accessible with both elevators and ramps. A looping system is available for those using hearing aids, so please ask whoever is running the audio board in the rear of the sanctuary.
Service animals also are welcome to attend our services.
